From our hands to your homes ~

Our Cholinga Jingle Bells are a result of many hands.
Like all our handwoven pieces, they’re made to last, to be cherished, and to be passed lovingly from one generation to the next.
Each bell is locally made, with skill and tradition woven into every piece.
Our bows are designed by sustainable apparel designer @cleo_droomer , a like-hearted maker who shares our vision for conscious, enduring design. Working with offcuts from @mungodesign , South Africa’s coveted heirloom weavers, he created the beautiful adornments.
Each set of bells and bow is placed in a custom box made and printed by @merrypak , a proudly South African, family-run business celebrating 40 years this year. An incredible and creative team to work with.
The super talented and skilled @judybdesign illustrated the Jingle Bells and designed the artwork for the boxes - we couldn’t be more happier with the result.

All design elements honour purpose, people, and the planet.

May your Cholinga Jingle Bells bring sparkle, joy, and festive cheer for many seasons to come!

We are delighted to launch our 2025 Cholinga Jingle Bells.
Many hands have gone into creating these festive treasures.
Like all our handwoven pieces, they’re made to last, to be cherished, and to be passed lovingly from one generation to the next.
Our bows this year are designed by sustainable apparel designer @cleo_droomer , a like-hearted maker who shares our vision for conscious, enduring design. Working with offcuts from @mungodesign , South Africa’s coveted heirloom weavers, he created elegant adornments that echo the same principles guiding Cholinga: slow production, made-to-last craftsmanship, and creativity that honours purpose, people, and the planet.
This year each set of bells comes in a custom box, designed by the incredibly talented @judybdesign and printed at @merrypak who were an absolute pleasure to work with.
So grateful for the friends I have made and met through starting my business and the friends who are always willing to let me bounce ideas off them or help pack boxes. Just like it takes a village to raise a child, it also takes a village to build a business.
